Welcome to Colors in Flight – breeder of Canaries in Michigan. This website was created to help educate and support Canary bird enthusiasts, and to provide a much-needed source for beautiful and healthy birds in areas of the USA where they seem to be scarce.
My goal is always to maintain and improve upon the integrity and long-established genetic purity through careful pair selections, and without becoming a “commercial bird factory“. Breeding stock consists of some of the finest, ribbon-winning genetic lines – acquired from top professional breeders and importers.
My name is Polly Taskey. I’m proud to share my growing knowledge, birds, and top recommendations with you. I am located in Roscommon County, Michigan, and have served Canary owners across the United States. Due to the growing number of fake buyers and sellers online, all shipping of live birds has been discontinued. In-person transactions only.
